An update node command in the API

Because editors do not always have connecting ways (for instance downloading to JOSM through Overpass) and to avoid accidentally ungluing ways by a programming error, there could be an API command equivalent to changing node coordinates currently that moves every POI, way area and relation point in one location to new coordinates.

This could also be used to support a shim.
