Allow for subtopics to be easier to select from a drop-down menu. Right now if a user goes to pick a subtopic, it looks like this:
Blah / SubBlah / SuperSubBlah
It would be much better if they selected Blah that it would then bring up a drop-down below that for SubBlah options. Then if a 3rd tier was there, they could then select SuperSubBlah options. It's very noisy with the current implementation to have subtopics.
Intended Outcome of the feature
Easier UX for end-user.
How will it work once completed?
As described above, if you picked a help topic with subtopics, another box would appear below and allow you to select the subtopic. If there was a super subtopic, then a 3rd dialog box would show up (if applicable). This creates a tree structure that makes it easier to manage for the end-user and the helpdesk.

IMO this sounds a little clunky, has more fields involved, etc. I think having a self-contained filterable type-ahead selection field would be more ideal. Regardless of whatever route we decide to go with, having a way to display the help topics better, make them searchable, etc. is on the list for v2.0 so stay tuned!
