This map was originally made for 1.4 by raiden; the original topic is at https://forum.freegamedev.net/viewtopic.php?f=73&t=3723&p=37270.
The 2.0 version of this map has been reduced in size by one gridpower (takes up 1/4 the volume), as the original version of this map was overwhelmingly large, with corridors extending over well over 100m.
This version of metalhead is more suited for duels, with single pickups and a much tighter feel than the original. The layout has also been changed somewhat, with the teleporters removed and a single central pusher adding vertical mobility in their place; there are also significant verticality changes to the second floor to add variety.
Additionally, the texturing and geometry have been significantly overhauled, with higher-res curves and more realistic waterfalls along with significant use of trak7's wall panels. The outside spaceships have been removed and replaced with some scenery buildings. There have also been some window removals to help improve the lousy occlusion in the original level.
