I have no objection that the basic programs of the system are all qt, but I object to all "sideloaded software" being qt. Users will only choose software they are familiar with. For example, users who know how to use openshot will not want to re-learn the system shotcut, they will only download, install, and execute openshot from the Internet. Users will not care whether it is QT or GTK, although the software is familiar with it. But if you let users only use the terminal to install non-QT software, in fact, this is the way It's no different than Apple's ios approach. |

This is my opinion, sideloading should be able to be installed on another computer without the need for an internet connection.
