Autoware and AWSIM not connecting

Hi! Today I was setting up the AWSIM and Autoware enviroment and I followed correctly the AWSIM document how to set it up and when I finished it, I ran the AWSIM followed by Autoware and the Autoware only showed up the map without the starting position of the vehicle initialized.

This is with the AWSIM_v1.3.1 and Autoware latest version of Nov 12th 2024

I wanted to know why this is happening and some help to fix this.

Please share your log files (found in $HOME/.ros/log/{DATE-USERNAME}/launch.log). Otherwise it is hard to know the issue.
Common problems are:

• Issue with CUDA or Nvidia drivers.
• Missing Autoware artifacts (must be downloaded with the setup-dev-env.sh script).
• Initial build of the perception models (the first time you run Autoware you may need to wait a lot of time before perception can work properly).

Thank you. It looks like you may be launching Autoware using the planning simulator launch file instead of the e2e launch file.
Please confirm you are using the correct command (as written here).

ros2 launch autoware_launch e2e_simulator.launch.xml vehicle_model:=awsim_labs_vehicle sensor_model:=awsim_labs_sensor_kit map_path:=<absolute path of map folder> launch_vehicle_interface:=true

Oh yeah thats true, I sent the wrong log file. But in the mean time I waited a very very very long time as you said here:

"Initial build of the perception models (the first time you run Autoware you may need to wait a lot of time before perception can work properly)."

And now it worked. Thank you!
