Hello @PATTIRO -

Individual NGOs or other organisations cannot be added or searched for on org-id.guide. The website links out to company and NGO registers across the world. Some registers are open and allow searching.

If you are looking for an identifier for PATTIRO, use the 'Registered in...' drop-down box to search for Indonesian registers: http://org-id.guide/. If your organisation has an identity number or reference with one of the listed registers, then you will be able to construct a unique identifier.

Dear @kd-ods

Thanks for your information. May we ask again regarding a unique identifier? Because we are still confused about it. Based on IATI guidelines, we need to find our identifier first before making a publisher account on IATI. But when we checked it on org-id, PATTIRO has not registered yet in the system. We thought that maybe we have to make a proposal, so our organization can be added on org-id. According to your previous explanation, we have two perception about it:

  1. We can construct our own identifier using the identity number of Indonesian registers. Example: Most of Indonesia registers are using "ID" as their identifier code. Maybe for PATTIRO, the identifier code will be "ID-PTR"

Or

  1. Because, PATTIRO takes responsibility of the program that is sponsored by the Dutch MFA. It means that our identifier refers to OECD Development Assistance Committee which is registered in Netherlands. The identifier would be XM-DAC.

So, from this two perception, which one is correct?

Thank you and we look forward to hearing from you.

@PATTIRO - You are likely to have been given a registration number or certificate when your organisation was formed. Also you may have a tax identification number or similar. Once you have found once such identifier for Pattiro, you will prefix it with an ID for the registration agency (as found in org-id.guide) and that will form a complete organisation identifier. Please contact the IATI Helpdesk for more support on constructing your identifier.
