Closed Project contribution?

I went on the Outreachy website to submit my final application and saw that it was now closed. What does that mean for people like me who deliberately waited to submit our final application and contribution all at once? 🙏

Should we still go ahead to submit? Will we be taken into consideration in the final selection?

Hello @shallieThegod if you have started recording your contributions, you have no issues. You can go ahead to submit.

It was closed to new applicants, meaning they can't click the Record a contribution and make final application button on the project page.

Can you access the contribution recording page of Project 1? If yes, then you have no issues. Just ensure you record your contributions and submit your final application before 4pm today (UTC).

The project was closed to new contributors. But contributors who have already started recording contributions can submit their final application on their profile. Check 'My participation' button at the top of your screen.
