Web Extension

Things like a Password Manager, that can read page content, alert page content like Ad Blockers do... They are limited in ways similar to Progressive Web Applications, but they have "cross site" features that make them an attractive solution for "wallet browser" integrations.

MetaMask being a prime example of a successful browser extension wallet.

There are pro's and con's to using web extensions as wallets, but one of the biggest "pros", is being able to interact with web pages.

Examples:

• decrypting content in the extension
• managing "trusted issuers" and leveraging them to enhance web experiences
• endorsing product credentials, or importing credentials that are on a web page
