@scrawfor99 - haha, this is entertaining for sure. Why not, right? I would love to see what all the community comes up with. We would of course need to see how and what it would take for the project to have a mascot. (legal, etc) But it couldn't hurt to get the community's creative ideas going. |

I am not the best cartoonist so have been hoping someone would volunteer to mock some options to decide from. If that does not happen, I will go ahead and do my best to make some choices for us to select from. |

Who doesn't love the Linux Penguin or the Gradle Elephant?
OpenSearch deserves its own mascot.
I asked ChatGPT for some reasons to have a mascot and I tend to agree with the all knowing guru:
