The program doesn't properly handle the conversion of ligatures from font subsets on conversion.

For example a document which contains the glyph 'ﬀ' upon conversion will output '�' rather than the expected 'ff'.

This also applies to other ligatures such as 'ﬃ' -> 'ffi'; 'ﬄ' -> 'ffl'; etc
