It's a shame, I think it was a really cool site that could bring many people to OFF.
Since the problem is with operation exceeded time limit maybe it might make sense to create subdomains for it like de.madenear.me etc. which would get only data for this one country.
This way the load on the db shoould be lighter, and it's a nice alternatives to creating customised domains like madenear.me.de which would be probably more money and labour intensive.

@ArturLange, my proposal is to keep mongodb aside and use the JSONL dump to generate the data.

Maybe I will do it as part of off migration to new server.

I still would like to give an eye on performance as it seems a bit slow to me (want to see if there is something obvious done badly).
