I have an iphone X and update to 2.0.11 and my phone Becomes Heat but Not battery drain! This is why i downgrade to 2.0.9 and now it works fine!

Install CocoaTop and see if there is any process using a bunch of resources. That said it would drain the battery aswell, which is why I think your issue might be placebo.
