Theme not working correctly with mambaforge #347
Comments
I'm not familiar enough with mambaforge to understand what you don't want to show up here. Can you be more specific? Thanks! |
Looking at the prompt, it looks like there's some symbol that is supposed to show up on the left side of base, right at the beginning of the line? What is that square with the 3 in superscript? |
oh, that's the glyph used to represent python 3 when you don't have nerd fonts enabled. i don't love it but i'm not sure there's a better one in base unicode. |
Thanks. It took me a while but finally figured out the whole nerd font thing. Tbh I like the powerline fonts better so I think I'll just hide the virtual environment because I hate that square lol. |
Heh. I hate the square too, but I use nerd fonts :) You should be able to override just the glyphs you want, to whatever you want (or nothing at all) via custom theme overrides. AFK or i'd get an example, but I think there's something on the wiki. |
Can I ask which nerd font you use? |
I use Operator Mono with the Nerd Fonts patcher. |
Not sure what is causing it but the theme doesn't appear to work correctly with mambaforge. You can see the unnecessary environment name on the left side.
I have tried
agnoster
and it works perfectly with that. The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
