Discussed with Don that we can simplify away

we have a lot of handcrafted code on top to support hovering
mobile zooming
status display on mobile click

My quick attempt to get an interactive svg out of figma

Figma export: include "id" attribute + outline text (uses Artegra Sans Extended licensed font) and optimized using https://jakearchibald.github.io/svgomg/:

Could https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/touch-action help us define mobile zooming in a simple way?
