R4 Ultra SDHC (r4ultra.com) #123
Comments
Ok I have made an interesting discovery. According to http://www.r4wood.com/pages/r4i-ultra-kernel.html it seems that the card I have is a clone for the r4i sdhc model. I was messing around with the firmware on it from the website above and it seems that it may be true because the r4i firmware worked on it and I currently have ys menu and I tried this akio (forgot the name) firmware on it. So I believe this may be something interesting to look into :) |
Was anything discovered? Or is there a flasher available? |
Linfoxdomain has a firmware update for the R4i Ultra: http://linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/dl.php/R4UltraR4i_Firmware_Update_EurDSi.zip |
Hi, I was trying to find a "reset in-game" patch to install in order to play BlackWhite on my r4i Ultra. After updating it, the cart itself doesn't have the game logo on-screen anymore (Alex Rider THQ), which I can't boot to the menu. I have to ask, what does this updates the version into? (P.S. my DSi XLVer is 1.4U) |
Had the same problem, after installing the patch :( now it doesn't work anymore |
(note; i am posting the OP on behalf of @therealtkstarstorm , for further questions ask him)
This appears to be a r4ultra.com with SDHC printed on the label
First tried flashing with a DS phat using the old ds_ntrboot_flasher. Tried the ak2i option, but it returned flashcart setup failed
Then tried using the latest commit of ntrboot_flasher_nds, which had a more recent version of flashcart_core in it. Using the ak2i option, it still failed initialization, but it also created a ntrboot.log this time.
Also; The R4iSDHC option was tried and init() succeeded. However, upon attempting a DumpFlash(), it returns with fat mount failed.
GM9 untrimmed dump cannot be provided as there is no access to a hacked 3DS.
