Thumbnail is not hidden after a short swipe up gesture to recent apps #10

Issue

When the user swipes up the app to recent apps with a very short gesture, the thumbnail shows correctly.
However when the app is resumed, the thumbnail is still showing.

Expected

When the user swipes up the app to recent apps with a very short gesture, the thumbnail shows correctly.
However when the app is resumed, the thumbnail is hidden.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Get a device or emulator with that supports gestures
  2. Make sure gestures are enabled (no navigation bar)
  3. Build and run the sample on this device
  4. Swipe up with a very short gesture and let go (see video)

Tested on One Plus Nord - Android 11 (API 30)

@rojaslcc it's still under investigation, we don't have an official solution yet to apply for the fix.
