Hi, I’m having trouble with email notifications from WireGuard UI using my Gmail account. It appears that Google has disabled support for "Less Secure Apps," requiring OAuth 2.0 for SMTP access. This change means that basic authentication with only a username and password no longer works for Gmail, and I suspect this is why emails are no longer being sent.

Could you advise if there are any plans to support OAuth 2.0 for Gmail SMTP? If not, could there be an alternative email configuration you’d recommend?

I think if you setup 2FA and use app passwords then this will solve your issue.

Like I said:

Basically what you are advising is lowering account security to keep application passwords working.
What I'm asking is to add oauth2 to follow better security on google accounts.
