[Bug]: Sharing status as shown in Desktop Client share dialog is not consistent with the current share status of a file
[Bug]: Share status as shown in Desktop Client share dialog is not consistent with a file share status
Jan 8, 2025
i'm getting the same issue with NC 3.15.3 (native version) and Linux Mint 21.3 up to date. (NC server 30.0.4.1 not encrypted)
Right now NC Desktop can't display any active share link, if i click the "plus" button, it will erase the active link and creates a new link.
The bug affects folders and files.
Bug description
Sharing status as shown in Desktop Client share dialog is not consistent with the current share status of a file.
I have outlined two simple scenarios below to test whether the share was defined initially in the Web UI or the Desktop Client.
Steps to reproduce
Scenario 1
Scenario 2
Share the file from the Desktop Client via a public link
Check the share status from the file manager context menu in the local pc, and, after refreshing, in the Web UI. Everything looks good.
Close the share dialog and reopen it, now the share status is not consistent anymore
Expected behavior
Share status should be always consistent and in-sync with the server.
