Can you tranfer journal data between objects?

Hi,

I've got kind of an edge case that comes down to moving journal data from one object to another.
I do not think it is possible in the gui but perhaps in the api?

use cases:
device A is being replaced with device B. Some journal data needs to be copied/moved from device A to device B since they are relevant to the new device.

Colleague added all journal entries on the tenant but it should be on the site and he does not want to redo the work.
