How to get stream offset and stream position on Jetstream?

I'm not sure I understand streaming in jetstream, but I can't seem to be able to get the offset from the stream. For example, if I connect to a stream, and there are in total 100 messages in that stream and I'm on position 50, how do i get those values?

I tried so far:

consumer_info = await js.consumer_info(subject, consumer_name)
offset = consumer_info.delivered.stream_seq
pending_messages = self.offset - consumer_info.ack_floor.consumer_seq

and combinations of the consumer info, but with no luck. What is the right way to do it (if available)?
