Dataweave preview failing in Windows because the filename or extension is too long

Desc: Trying to use the Dataweave preview is failing with error "206, The filename or extension is too long"
Long paths are enabled in the registry / group policy.

Version: 2.0.4-20181011.210707

The maven project is close to the root of the drive "C:\tools\repo\MuleMavenProjectTest"
There is a parent pom in that directory and then the child is in "C:\tools\repo\MuleMavenProjectTest\childproject"
The dataweave it is trying to open is "C:\tools\repo\MuleMavenProjectTest\childproject\src\main\resources\POC-ExampleDataWeave.dwl"
