What Linux distro can this be run on (easily)? I tried on Fedora 20 -- but it has firewalld rather than iptables, and a very different Python version than expected. Perhaps an 2011 Ubuntu live cd would work better?

If you want the most suitable distro, and are willing to use any, just use Kali :)
