Flex Wrap the People Card layout #2710

I'm wanting to wrap the People Card view so I customize it and add my style:

      .template--peopleListItem{
           width:300px ;
       }
       
       .template--defaultList{
           display: flex;
           flex-wrap: wrap;
           justify-content: start;
           flex-flow: wrap;
           align-items: start;
       }

However when I do that I can't "Show persona card on hover"
