Child nodes are too far to the left in vertical diagram #13

It appears that when a parent only has a single child and the width of that child is less than the width of the parent element, the child element is rendered too far left causing the connection between parent and child to break.
A sample of the behavior can be seen in the screenshot I added below, the most left branch displays this behavior.
