Hi, thanks for building this, just wanted to let you know that i built a PCB for this code. its not been tested yet but i will report back when its been tested: cheers! |
Nice thanks for sharing! I made some pinout adjustments recently to use pins that are generally considered the better alternative for the nodemcu
Does this include that change?

Hi, im not sure, i went off of what was listed on your schematic. well looking at the code it does look like they changed. so the v1.3 version of the board reflects this: int pinr1 = gpio14; // Receiving pin does that look right? |
Whoops dunno how I missed that |
So you have 4 LEDs plus the 3.5mm jacks which also connect to the same pinouts essentially? Just wanna make sure I'm understanding the board correctly Also very sorry to keep changing the default GPIO settings and making this more difficult |
Hi, i have 3 versions of the board now. one has 4 jacks and 4 leds, 2 jacks and 4 leds or no jacks and 4 leds. the jacks and the leds are connected together to allow either to be used(see pic) i've moved wifi reset to gpio15 on the 1.4v of the boards. https://easyeda.com/raptordemon/ESP8266_IR_blaster-f8f224faba554bf3bb6ce0e32759fc23 Easyeda, the free software i use, is offering 10 boards for 2usd plus shipping. so they work out rather cheap feel free to give them a go. note that 1.4v of the board has not been tested but the only change is the wifi reset pin |
I'm feeling kinda stupid but I don't see how to actually order the PCBs I'd like to order 5 of 1.4 small and 5 of 1.4 full size for testing |
its a bit tricky, you have to click Open in editor for the design you want to look at, then choose the fabrication output button shown in the image. this will add it to the cart. the default output options are fine, green is the cheapest pcb. I have only tested 1.3 but the only change that i made was changing out the wifi reset pins per our discussion so they should work just fine. let me know what happens. |
HI pcb's updated, v1.5 is the latest it has gpio10 as the wifi reset. i have not tested this board as i am using the v1.3 and still have boards. please let me know if it works |
hi there, how did the boards work out for you? |
They're working great, put together 10 of the 1.5 smalls and they're working wonderfully |
Is anyone selling the v1.5 small board? Would like to buy 5. Thanks |
Sweet, glad to hear it. i have stock of the 1.3 medium size boards but i don't have any 1.5 smalls, sorry. |
you can order these directly from easy eda in a qty of 5, its 5 usd for the boards (1usd each) and 7.4usd for shipping. |
Not sure if anyone would want to use this but I thought I would give it a shot. Never used Eagle or any other CAD software before (Software Guy) thought it would be fun to try. Any tweaks would be great before I get this printed.
