nice idea, but this is blocked, at least in the medium term by:

  • no ARR affinity / stateless design of GCR (this would be acceptable if limiting container to 1 instance, which would suffice for proof of concept)
  • no websockets; this currently needs to be rerouted via shinyServer, which brings in AGPL and just adds a lot of complexity to the image, which muggle is trying to avoid.

So no GCR for now, not for shiny loads at least.
Perfect for other loads.
