I just wanted to send you a note that I've been playing with drum kid on https://github.com/poetaster/rampart which is designed for CV input on analog 4-7 ... since I only have 3 buttons in that layout it's limited. I also have a euclidean patterns program in the works. In any case, thanks for sharing the code ;)

That’s nice

just got into the world of ae modular, i’m really curious about rampart.
what are you doing with the drumkid in there? Since all is midi, i’m curious about what possibilities the cv is offering.
thanks for sharing

I haven't applied CV in the drumkid context yet but have a number of patches like:
https://github.com/poetaster/rampart/blob/master/WavePacket_PDreso-nano/WavePacket_PDreso-nano.ino

which do. I started using this with my own analog auto synth (keep aka. moat) which was a response to Bastl labs Kastle mini-modular. rampart has worked relatively well (given how primitive I kept it) with keep, kastle 1.5 and the korg micromodular.

I have a euclidean rythms sampler built with axoloti, rather on the high end, and I wanted to create a low-fi version of that. I have a self built one, but drum kid is much, much better ;)

In any case, the CV, given appropriate scaling can do just about anything continuous or otherwise :) Usually, I use it as a continuous function to something like fiter Q or cutoff.

got any info on the moat keep? can’t find anything.

that said, it looks like it would pair nicely with a nanosynth ns1 https://www.sound-machines.it/product/ns1nanosynth/

https://github.com/poetaster/moat it's a project not a product :) I have some fast and dirty sound examples at: https://poetaster.de/synths/

And the ns1 is a nice piece of kit :)
