"failed to get the code" error when authenticating via the desktop app

Authentication fails when trying to connect via the desktop app. This happens for both the slash command and modal methods.

Authentication also fails when copying and pasting the auth URL into an incognito window.

@darias416 I tried reproducing the issue on my system. But I was able to connect myself using both slash command and modal. I have attached a small demo video for the same.

@ayusht2810, Mike and I could reproduce this in a separate test instance. We've seen the issue in 2 different test environments. It'll be important for us to learn the circumstances that cause the error and how to prevent it from happening.
