T3S3 SX1280 w/ PA - Hardware Failure Error

Hello, I have recently flashed the newly flashed RNode 1.8.0 firmware onto my T3S3 SX1280 w/ PA. I used esptool due to rnodeconf or Liam's web flasher not currently supporting it as of yet. Here are the settings I used when flashing:

python esptool.py -p COM11 -b 9600 --before default_reset --after hard_reset --chip esp32s3 write_flash -z --flash_mode dio --flash_freq 80m --flash_size 4MB 0xe000 rnode_firmware_t3s3_sx1280_pa.boot_app0 0x0 rnode_firmware_t3s3_sx1280_pa.bootloader 0x10000 rnode_firmware_t3s3_sx1280_pa.bin 0x210000 console_image.bin 0x8000 rnode_firmware_t3s3_sx1280_pa.partitions

I based the settings and ESP32 flashing addresses based the settings used for the other models of T3S3 in the rnodeconf source code.

However, flashing onto 2 separate T3S3s results in both of them booting into RNode but producing a "Hardware Failure" Error.

That's creative, but it won't work ;)

The boards are flashed now, but they don't have any configuration for knowing what kind of modems and other options they have.

You need to use either rnodeconf or the web flasher :) Check the documentation for more info.

I went on Liam's web flasher and used it to provision the EEPROM and hash the firmware by selecting another model of T3S3. They both boot fine now, but I have not actually used them yet.

The SX1280 support in version 1.80 is still a little rough around the edges. Version 1.81 is going to be out soon with better performance and stability.

My apologies. I was not fully aware of the RNode initialization process and had thought the HW Failure error was a bug.
