When playing bullet game on a phone network (likely not fast enough) the time counting after move sometimes bugs. Even after you set a pre-move the time will count down. Today while playing I observed this scenario 2 times in a row and then decided to record the third game to see if the issue happened again, it sure did. I attached a video of the game (Can’t attach the video as it is limited to 10mb). You can see the problem happening at the times (my time):
I’ve uploaded the video on YouTube (not public listed). Here is the link
Right at the start. I set a pre move and after my move the counter goes from 1:00 minute to 59s
57s to 56s, same thing set pre-move and it counted down after my move.
53 to 52 the time counts down after I’ve moved the bishop, no pre move on this one
51 to 49 the time moves from 50 to 49 in less than the whole second (checked the video frames)
40 to 39 same pre-move, the time counts down even with the pre move
37 to 36 same as above
35 to 33 time just jumps on the OPPONENT’s turn >>> This is the worse one.
And a few others. I think the above is enough to show case the issue.
I’ve even reported this issue before but since I just posted the game analyses it was closed saying it was opponent’s pre-move.
Here is the game URL in case you need: https://lichess.org/TemmY7VC/white#65
Steps to reproduce the bug
1 - Try to simulate a somewhat not fast internet connection
2 - Play a rated bullet match (1minute)
3 - Throughout the game you should be able to observe the behaviour
