How to add memory to a hierarchical langgraph

@dosu I want to add memory to my chain in langgraph, I saw that there is a way using checkpoint when compiling the graph, but following the examples after the first message is generated the error of invalid json output occurs, and it generates the expected output, which my StateGraph is of type Agent State and I see that in the examples it is of type MessagesState, I don't know if there is a relationship
