Hi,

are there any plans for a 1.0 release?
A 0.x suggests that the plugins are not ready for production use, or are subject to substantial changes.
If I wanted to suggest using kordamp in my organization, it would require more arguing why we should use "instable" plugins.

If you feel that the current release is production ready then, maybe it would be better to follow the semantic versioning for the future.

Hi Leonard, yes I'm aware of the perceived value of low point releases, even if the long running history of releases is considered (from 0.1.0 up to 0.39.0 so far).

I'm currently planning a big refactor for 0.40.0 to accommodate the Property/Provider API, hoping the breakages can be kept to a minimum. After this I don't see another big update (configuration cache support is not yet planned) which could prompt a move to the coveted 1.0.0 after a pair of releases beyond 0.40.0.
