I have outline as part of the styling, but it doesn't show up (Vue)

Update: from what I can see, the "span" isn't being created when using outline. Looking at the examples on the components page, I can see how there is a span after the 2 divs, and that changes when on focus.

In my page, that is not the case, as there is no span.
