Problem:
When the game is running for a long time (over 24 hours) without loss of power (either in a game or on the title/score screens) the audio starts to delay noticeably (about half a second after 24 hours).

Desired behavior:
The audio is not supposed to delay.

Possible causes:

  • Fmod software library
  • Buffering in the Raspbian OS (Alsa?)
  • Audio DAC

If no cause can be found or the solution is too complicated, an alternative solution would be to reboot the system after the game has not been used for a few hours. This only solves the problem if it is not hardware related.
