I've tried clearing cache and data for Play Services and Play Store but I can't get my Pixel 8 Pro to play nicely with Magisk.

I've also tried disabling all my Magisk modules and I've enabled DenyList to block Play Services and Play Store, to no avail.

Can't download ChatGPT or Adobe Lightroom from the Play Store because of it.

It works! Thank you so much! Only issue is that it seems to make my device super laggy

No I can't since the issue is related to this specific safetynet fix

It can't/won't be fixed because the fingerprint used by the app is blacklisted by google.
The developer is no longer updating this app because other apps have superseded it, so you can close the issue.

  1. Uninstall the safetynet-fix module and reboot.

  2. Next, install this magisk module:
    https://github.com/chiteroman/PlayIntegrityFix

  3. Then, install this magisk module:
    https://github.com/daboynb/PlayIntegrityNEXT

  4. Then, after rebooting and confirming it no longer shows as "Hardware backed", you'll need to ensure that the play store shows as "certified" in settings>about>Play Protect certification.

  5. You can either wait a few days for the Play Store to update on its own, or force it by wiping data (not cache, but data) on the play store app, then open it once and wait a few hours for it to update in the background.
