If the domain isn't supported, it'd be nice to have some sort of method that just tries a generic guess/check. Especially since lots of sites tend to use WPRM, it'd be easy to have that as the generic 'fallback' behavior.

An additional fallback which could be attempted is the Recipe Schema provided by schema.org, see:
