Discerning the colours of the fish beyond [black, white, orange, red, pink] is extremely difficult for me, page 6 of the book appears to be a blocker for me that I cannot progress past without a lot of luck.

This could be improved in a number of ways:

  • A number of predefined colour palettes that account for the various types of colourblindness
  • The ability to manually adjust the colour palette (can hide undiscovered colours if desired)
  • Name the colours, and make the information available in the card form, and optionally as a text bubble when interacting with a fish
  • High contrast outlines between the base colour and secondary/tertiary colurs on [hover fish, drag fish, in card mode] would be necessary to help in cases where it is not possible to visually distinguish the colours (not necessary if manual colour adjustment is available)

Each of these alone would be tremendous help, but the more you can include, the more accesible the game will be to people with colourblindness and/or impaired vision.
