How do you use it

is there any tutorial on how to use this program, ive tried eveyrthing and it still keeps saying missing data files please reinstall. idk how im supposed to reinstall it since im taking it straight from the zip. ive tried moving the start.exe into the the actual folder where pvz is and i put new_elf.dll in there too becuase it asked for it and it never started. it didn't give an error but it made a debug log saying that it was unable to read nw.dll. i dont even know if im asking this in the right place but it would be very helpfull if you could respond to this whenever you can.
