That project is inactive since 2015.

i don't think there is anything we can do to on our side.

if you fork it and can succefully integrate buku with it you may want to add that to https://github.com/jarun/buku/wiki/Third-party-integration or https://github.com/jarun/buku#related-projects

if you want to ask people to do it i recommend put it in #484
