I have two branches defined in the SUS module of NetSUS 5.0, one is a 'test' branch and configured to auto-enable any newly released updates issued by Apple and the other is a 'released' branch and updates have to be manually enabled.
The released branch is working as I would expect in that updates either manually enabled or disabled stay set as such, however the test branch is not working as expected. For the test branch yes new updates are correctly auto-enabled but if I then manually disable an update in the test branch next time it runs an update it re-enables those previously disabled updates. This seems to me to be incorrect behaviour. I would expect only new updates to be auto-enabled, that is updates newly discovered and downloaded during an update run.

I am still experiencing this issue. I have a support case open with JAMF and they wanted me to confirm that this issue listed here was the one I was experiencing, which it is. Currently some MacOS Catalina users are seeing iTunes 10.6.3 updates from NetSUS and I can't disable those specific updates because they are automatically re-enabled.
