Cannot retry request with a non-repeatable request entity error uploading file to BigCommerce

Bug Description
We use Cyberduck to upload content for the machines that our company offers, such as literature, parts maps, and manuals, to our BigCommerce site for customer access. However, when trying to upload updated versions of literature, we consistently encounter the following error message: 'Upload [filename.pdf] failed. (store-qitjiw0idi.mybigcommerce.com – WebDAV (HTTPS)) Cannot retry request with a non-repeatable request entity.', followed by an "Upload Completed" status in the Transfer log, despite the upload having failed.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to '(store-qitjiw0idi.mybigcommerce.com – WebDAV (HTTPS)'
2. Click on 'Content'
3. Click on 'Literature'
4. Attempt to upload any .pdf file
5. See error

Expected behavior
Transfer log displays upload status of attempted file, followed by "Upload Completed" despite the upload failing and the file being inaccessible in the 'Literature' folder.

The new log file: cyberduck.log

This is the current logging output when attempting to upload again. I changed permissions and it still doesn't seem to be working. The oddity is that I'm still able to upload files to different folders such as "Parts Maps" (I used it yesterday). I was able to use the "Literature" folder for months, as all the files uploaded were uploaded by me, but this refusal to upload is a relatively new issue. There were a few times in the past where this occurred, but I usually would just disconnect my network connection and re-connect and that would solve the issue. We did recently just upgrade our network, however. Could this be the underlying issue? And if so, how would I go about fixing that?

The log shows that we do preemptive authentication using the Basic scheme but the server requires Digest scheme we fail to provide as the request cannot be repeated.

It should be possible to workaround this by disabling preemptive authentication using Basic scheme by setting the following hidden configuration option:

webdav.basic.preemptive=false

I'm trying to upload a .pdf file, and it's failing. I've tried uploading a .txt file, and had no problems.

For This Error: "Cyberduck Cannot retry request with a non-repeatable request entity."

I did the following:

1. Close Cyberduck

2. Check if there is a default.properties file available in:
   %AppData%\Cyberduck (C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Cyberduck)

3. If it is available, open it within a text editor of your choice, add the desired property:
   webdav.basic.preemptive=false

4. If not, create it and save it in %AppData%\Cyberduck (C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Cyberduck)

I did not already have the file in Step 3)... so I added it. I'm still getting the failure.

Interesting FYI:

• The PDF was a docx: File > Save As
• I just tried a File > Print > To PDF

That uploaded no problem.

It is suggested in #16535 that filenames containing whitespace are not supported.

I was so frustrated with this, I ended up contacting BigCommerce Support; they advised:

This error is found when utilizing the newer versions of Cyberduck. We have found this issue is resolved through reverting to version 8.6.3. Here is a link to the Cyberduck changelog where you can download this version: https://cyberduck.io/changelog/

So far, this solution has worked for me. I hope it helps some others.
