I don't know of any Linux alternative to Nvidia ShadowPlay that keeps a rolling buffer of video that can be saved to a file on a hotkey press. This is very useful for capturing unexpected moments in gameplay. Having such a feature in Capsule would be really neat 😀

If it happens it'll be opt-in - the issue is that, on some older computers, capturing + encoding will slow down the game to some extent. "Just capturing" would make the buffer way big (so, take a bunch of RAM, or fill up the disk, or even be too fast to write to disk). So, I'd like that very much, but it'll probably have to be opt-in.
