init7 streams not functioning

Hi all,

Can anyone confirm they got their init7 streams working? I suspect something has changed as I cannot access the channels through the main init7 m3u link. It just seems to time out.

I am definitely on init7, and the init7 app on the Apple TV works without a problem.

I'm attempting to set up the Live TV feature on Jellyfin.

Any guidance is appreciated.

In some cases, you have to change some settings in your Router, to make Multicast streams work:

TV7 transmits its streams both as multicast and point-to-point and with a slight time delay in the form of HTTP Live Streaming (HLS).
HLS works in your home without any special settings, both via wired Ethernet and WLAN.
To receive the multicast streams, an IGMP proxy must be activated on your router. In addition, the reception of multicast streams via WLAN may require special settings on your access point. We therefore recommend wired Ethernet for multicast streaming - we cannot guarantee multicast streaming via WLAN.

Hi @FR-95,

Thank you for getting back to me. The init7 TV app works on my Apple TV, so the IGMP proxy is already enabled, but I will confirm.

This may be related to the firewall rules on my media server. Do you think that's possible? Alternatively, maybe my Proxmox settings?
