I can read all registers which do not provide read-write capabilities :-)
But how can I write to the registers declared as RW? The above linked table describes in the 5th column „Function codes“ something I don’t understand … how to motivate the adapter to send the values to the relevant SMARTFOX registers?

I connected my iOBroker (installed on a Pi 4.0) via this Modbus adapter to an Energy management system called SMMARTFOX PRO. The useable registers are described here https://smartfox.de/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Modbus-Register-SMARTFOX-Pro-SMARTFOX-Pro-2-v22e-00.01.03.10.xlsx.
