Sorry but Lace is v1.5 and still no Firefox add-on?

I mean, I will never use Chrome.. Never.

Hey @melroy89, I totally feel you—I'm a Firefox user too! 😊 But just so you know, we're currently zooming in on Chrome-based browsers because that's where most users are at. 🌍 However we've got plans for Firefox and Safari add-ons in the pipeline! 🦊🍏

I have been using Yoroi wallet (I also use firefox), and the dapp connector seems to be pretty stable.

But if the lace team ever gets around to it, I would much prefer to use IOHK built software.

I think multi browser support would be very nice. However, it is possible to switch the browser for different use cases and the FireFox market share is rather small according to:

https://www.similarweb.com/browsers/

So it probably is not of high priority to serve FireFox.

Bad reason. All the more important to support Firefox. Chrome became way too powerful and big.

We are now in 2024, Lace v1.13, still no sign for Firefox support? It's a shame. It really is.

Hi @melroy89, trust me, I’m the first to want Lace on Firefox. I don’t particularly like Chromium browsers either. But please understand, 90% of the market uses Chromium-based browsers, which is why we’re focusing there.

I have currently a WIP PR trying to achieve compatibility on Firefox. Any help from your side is very welcome 🙏🏻
