Documentation for Connectors and SmartModules must be maintained in their repository using
a certain file as the page reference in our Fluvio Documentation.

alternatively download from Hub. Hub connector should contain README and connector config which should be enough to populate page

I'd second extracting from the hub packages directly instead of repos
