If you click on Photo A in the gallery and then swipe to (Motion) Photo B and click play for motion playback, it will jump to Photo A but retain the UI and controls of the motion photo until you swipe.

If you click on Photo D and then swipe to Photo C and then swipe to (Motion) Photo B and click play for motion playback, it will jump to Photo D but retain the UI and controls of the motion photo until you swipe.

Confirmed this does not happen on app version v1.121.0 before the HDR video player was added.
