Qiime2 reference data

We would need some reference data listed at https://docs.qiime2.org/2023.9/data-resources/:

• Taxonomy classifiers for use with q2-feature-classifier
• SEPP reference databases

nice thing is that is versioned (in the URLs) and there is md5 checksums. Wondering if we need an extra method for this.

Do we already have a script do download given a list of links + hashes?

The annoying part is that we also need UNITE data: from the qiime release (latest version + release data + the larger number of Refs). If you download with the browser some contact infos are requested. There seems to be also an API, but I have not found out how to use it, yet. I wrote an email asking for help.
