I have an issue with the compass on Beitian BN-880. When Sensors is set correctly to magnetometer HMC5883 (with correct flip setting, and calibrated) it points north, but when I tilt it slightly the reading varies enormously. A 90CW turn moves the reading initially in the right direction but then drifts back to close to what it was before turn.
What could be the problem? It is a reasonable distance (but this is only a 4" quad) from power wires (apart from it's own supply).
