ASSSeq is geared at inspecting and editing Sanger sequence assemblies. It comes packed with its own assembler, but can read assemblies in ACE format from other assemblers. It is implemented in Java and is cross platform. We believe that the community need a free contig viewer/editor that is geared at Sanger sequences, and is easy to install and use. ASSSeq aim to fill this need.

I have been tweeting small adverts for the Software Bazaar in the lead-up to the Evolution meetings. Both to draw interest from potential users to come visit, but also to encourage more software folks to file their issues early. Every year, almost all the participants open issues to present the week before the meeting, which is a bit to handle ;)
If you'd be OK with me tweeting a link to your software's website from the iEvoBio twitter, let me know. It's totally optional.
